Every TV has slightly different settings for enabling HDMI CEC, which is required to turn the TV On, Off and switch HDMI Ports when a call is received and ended.

Each brand in the list below includes the trade name(s) in parenthesis that the manufacturer typically uses when referring to the features in their TV menus. You can refer to the sample instructions that accompany some of the TV brands, but the steps may vary from model to model, and may change when TV software is updated. When in doubt, refer to the user manual or online documentation for your specific make and model.

IMPORTANT: If a TV doesn't detect the ONSCREEN device and does not properly switch HDMI ports after using the menu system to enable that feature, try unplugging the TV and plugging it back in, then turning it on.

Have a TV Not Listed?

Please try the following suggestions:

  1. Ensure your TV supports HDMI-CEC by Googling "{TV Brand Model} HDMI Support"

  2. If it does support it, make sure it's enabled by going to the Settings section and ensuring it's turned on.*

  3. Try turning all the devices off, and then powering them on, one by one, starting with your TV, then the ONSCREEN device.

  4. If you have an AV receiver that you've plugged the ONSCREEN device into, try plugging the ONSCREEN device directly into the TV.
