How to Set Up a JoyCalls Account

Create a JoyCalls account in minutes using your name, email, and password (or Google). Set up your care receiver in two steps.

📝 Step by Step Instructions: Create Your Caregiver Account

Go to app.joycalls.ai/signup

You can sign up in one of three ways:

  • Using your Google or Facebook account

  • Or by entering your Full Name, Email, and Password

Once you’ve signed up, you’ll be guided through a quick setup process. Next, you'll tell us about the person you want Joy will be calling.

Then you’ll be asked to choose who are you setting up JoyCalls for:

  • For a loved one (parent, grandparent, etc.)

  • Or for yourself

This will help Joy understand who will she be talking to.

👤 Step 1: Tell Us About Your Loved One

You’ll be asked to enter:

  • First Name & Last Name

  • Phone Number (mobile or landline)

  • City

  • State

The City and State information helps Joy know the local time for scheduled calls, and adds a personal touch to the experience.


💬 Step 2: Personalize the Conversation (Optional)

To make Joy’s calls more meaningful, you can optionally share:

  • Favorite interests (e.g., flower gardening, golden retrievers)

  • Family members to mention

These preferences shape Joy’s tone, content, and conversation topics.

📊 Step 3: Choose Your Subscription Plan

Select the JoyCalls subscription plan that best fits your needs. Each plan offers different levels of flexibility, call time, and features, so you can choose the option that works best for you or your loved one.

Basic Plan

$9.99/month

A simple entry-level option for scheduled check-ins.

  • 1 active scheduled call

  • Up to 10 minutes per call

  • 60 minutes total per month

  • $0.20 per additional minute

Plus Plan (Most Popular)

$19.99/month

A balanced plan with added flexibility and accessibility.

  • Up to 3 active scheduled calls

  • Up to 20 minutes per call

  • 120 minutes total per month

  • $0.18 per additional minute

Premium Plan

$29.99/month

Our most comprehensive plan with full feature access.

  • Up to 5 active scheduled calls

  • Up to 30 minutes per call

  • 180 minutes total per month

  • $0.16 per additional minute

💳 Step 4: Enter Your Payment Information

Enter your payment details to begin your 7-day free trial.

During your trial period, you’ll have full access to your selected plan so you can explore JoyCalls and see how it fits your needs.

After entering your information and submitting it:

  • Your trial will start immediately and be directed to the JoyCalls home screen.

  • You won’t be charged until the trial period ends

✔️ Step 5: JoyCalls Home Screen

A General Friendly Visit call will automatically be scheduled on our end as your first session. From the home screen, you can schedule future calls, review past calls, update your profile information, and manage your subscription plan.
