This new feature allows you to easily choose and switch PlutoTV channels directly from the Caregiver main screen. Below, you'll find step-by-step instructions on how to use the Channel Selector and get the most out of this feature.

Note: Make sure that you've enabled the Pluto TV App, in the Settings.
Accessing the Channel Selector
Launch the Channel Selector:
Using the Channel Selector
Select a Category:
Once the Channel Selector interface is open, you'll see a dropdown menu labeled Select a Category.
Use this dropdown to pick the category of channels you want to explore. You can choose from various categories like "Classic TV" (selected by default) or simply select All to view all available channels.
Select a Channel:
View Channel Preview:
Once you've selected a channel, the channel's logo will appear below the dropdown. This preview shows either a thumbnail or a featured image of the channel to give you a quick visual reference.
Change the Channel:
After selecting the desired channel, press the Select Channel button to change the channel on the TV.
You should see a confirmation that the channel has been successfully changed. If needed, you can choose another channel by repeating the steps above.
Tips for Optimal Use
Loading Time: When you first open the Channel Selector, it may take a few moments to load all available channels. Please be patient while the data is fetched.
Categories: Use categories to quickly find the type of content you're interested in, such as news, movies, or family shows. We select "Classic TV" by default, as this category has a lot of senior friendly programming.
Success Confirmation: After selecting a channel, a thumbs-up confirmation will briefly appear to indicate the change was successful.
Troubleshooting
Channel Not Changing: Ensure that the ONSCREEN device is properly connected and that the TV is turned on. Also, make sure that the HDMI CEC feature is enabled on the TV.
Loading Issues: If the channels do not load, try restarting the app and ensuring you have a stable internet connection.
