We are excited to announce a suite of new features on the ONSCREEN Desktop Web Portal, designed to enhance the caregiving experience for both caregivers and seniors. These features offer comprehensive tools for managing and interacting with the ONSCREEN device, making it easier than ever to stay connected and ensure the well-being of your loved ones.

Accessing the Desktop Portal

Caregivers can access these new features by logging in at https://portal.onscreeninc.com. Simply use the same email and password you use to log into the mobile app.

The desktop portal provides access to a variety of functions to assist in daily caregiving tasks.

Desktop Features

When logged in via a desktop, caregivers can access the following functions:

  1. Make a Call from the Desktop: Initiate direct video calls to the senior's ONSCREEN device.

  2. Create and Manage Tasks/Routines: Set up and manage daily, weekly, or one-time tasks and routines.

  3. Send Messages: Send a text reminder to the ONSCREEN device.

  4. Join to Zoom Meetings: Easily connect seniors to Zoom meetings for family catch-ups or telehealth appointments.

  5. Start the AI Companion: Engage the AI companion for various tasks and interactions.

  6. Video Check-In Now: Perform immediate video check-ins for peace of mind.

  7. Review AI Assessments: View the outcome of medication and meal checkins.

  8. Review AI Conversations: View transcripts of conversations that your loved one is having with the AI assistant.

  9. Watch Video Check-Ins: View video recordings generated by the Video Check-in Feature.

Mobile Access

Given that mobile access requires a simplified interface, there are less features available for mobile users. For caregivers using smartphones to access the Portal, the following functions are available:

  • Create a Task or Routine: Manage and schedule tasks and routines on-the-go.

  • Edit and Delete Tasks or Routines: Make changes or remove tasks.

Tasks that involve the AI companion can be reviewed in the mobile app, under the "View Joy History" feature.

Tasks and Routines

Caregivers can set up various tasks or routines, including:

  • AI Companion Visits: Our AI companion, Joy, can perform a number of tasks. Please see below for more details.

  • Video Check-Ins: Set up custom check-ins with a unique video prompts as needed.

  • Joining to Zoom, Synzi Telehealth, or Doxy.me Telehealth Meetings: Automate the joining of telehealth visits by setting up the event ahead of time. The the time of the appointment, the ONSCREEN device will automatically join the telehealth session.

  • Playing YouTube Videos/Playlists: These can be set up as fitness videos, calming videos or more.

  • Displaying Text Messages, Images, or Videos from URLs: Use these for reminders that show up on the TV and stay on the TV until the timer runs out, or are dismissed using the remote control. Things like medication reminder, appointments, or other reminders are great for this feature.

These tasks can be scheduled as one-time, daily, or weekly events, with the option to select specific days for weekly tasks.

Each task or routine requires a specific time setting, ensuring timely reminders and interactions.

AI Companion Tasks

The AI Companion can be programmed for the following specific tasks:

  • Medication Reminder & Check

  • Pain and Happiness Check

  • Meal Eaten Check

  • Morning Medication Check

  • Afternoon Medication Check

  • Evening Medication Check

  • General Friendly Visit

These updates to the ONSCREEN Desktop Web Portal are part of our ongoing commitment to enhancing the caregiving experience, making it more intuitive, interactive, and supportive for both caregivers and seniors.
