This guide shows how to pin the ONSCREEN Joy for Tablet app on an iPad. Guided Access keeps the ONSCREEN Joy for Tablet app ready for calls.

Guided Access

This is a user-configurable setting that temporarily locks the iPad to a single app.

How to Enable Guided Access:

  1. Open Settings > Accessibility > Guided Access.

  1. Toggle Guided Access ON.

  2. Tap Passcode Settings > Set Guided Access Passcode (optional: enable Face ID or Touch ID).

3. Set Display Auto-Lock to "Never"

4. With ONSCREEN Joy for Tablets open, tap the Power or Home button on the iPad 3 times.

4. Choose the Start button that shows up in the top of the screen.

Exiting Guided Access:

  • Triple-press the Home or Power button.

  • Enter the passcode to exit.
