How to Access Pluto TV on ONSCREEN
To ensure that Pluto TV is enabled, go into the Settings section of the ONSCREEN Mobile App and ensure that these settings are enabled:
Return to TV App means that after every ONSCREEN activity, such as a call, reminder or AI companion visit, the TV will go back to Pluto TV.
Using Pluto TV on your ONSCREEN device is easy. Just follow these steps, and make sure to walk your older loved one through each part to ensure they're comfortable with the process:
Open Pluto TV: You can start Pluto TV by either pressing the "TV" button on your ONSCREEN remote or by selecting the "TV" tile from the home screen. You can get to the home screen by pressing the Home button on the remote, however the easiest way to start Pluto TV is to press the purple "TV" button on the remote.
Browse and Watch: Once inside Pluto TV, you can browse channels by using the remote's navigation buttons. You’ll find a guide with live content as well as a selection of on-demand shows and movies.
Using Your ONSCREEN Remote with Pluto TV
To make navigating Pluto TV even easier, here is a quick guide on how to use the ONSCREEN remote. You can also use this guide to train your older loved one so that they can feel more independent while enjoying their favorite shows:
Power On/Off & Switch to TV Programming: The top left Power button allows you to turn your TV on or off.
Select Options on the Screen: Use the directional buttons and the center "Enter" button to navigate through menus and select channels or shows.
Up & Down buttons: These buttons will change the channel in a linear fashion, like old-fashioned TV.
Left & Right buttons: These buttons let you open the Channel Guide and navigate through this more advanced channel selection section. We recommend to avoid this, and mostly work with the up & down buttons.
Go Back: The back arrow button lets you return to the previous screen if you want to change your selection.
Return to Home Screen: Press the "Home" button to quickly return to the ONSCREEN main menu.
